Each year, in August-September, we offer a 65-hour position as EducLang Research Assistant.
Responsibilities*

Support the EducLang Graduate student representatives in:

The organization of two EducLang Student socials per year (September and January)

The implementation of initiatives that bring students together (3 hours)

e.g., sending out promo on mailing list, providing contact information to book rooms, promoting on social media, helping with getting funding, posting information on the website, etc. (5hours)

Update and maintain EducLang main and Grad student website (14 hours)

Update and maintain the EducLang mailing list (students and community) (5 hours)

Update and maintain EducLang social media accounts and promote EducLang events / initiatives / achievements via: (5 hours)

Assist with preparing and promoting EducLang conference and/or EducLang seminars. (30 hours)

Assist with any student surveys or other EducLang research initiatives that involve students (5 hours)

Attend faculty at EducLang meetings (first 20 minutes to provide updates) (3 hours)

Supervises the election of the two Graduate Student Representatives
Terms
1-year paid bilingual position (can also be divided into 2 positions: one Eng, one Fr)
